Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how WO! collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use our application.
2. Data we collect
To provide our services, we collect:
- Account data: name, email, and encrypted password.
- Profile and health data: age, weight, height, goals, experience level, and body composition, voluntarily provided by you.
- Usage data: workouts completed, plans created, logged progress, and interactions with the AI coach.
- Payment data: processed directly by our payment providers (e.g. Stripe), never stored by WO!.
- Technical data: device type, operating system, and diagnostic data.
3. How we use your data
- To create and personalize your training and nutrition plans.
- To track your progress over time.
- To improve the app's features and performance.
- To communicate with you about your account or subscription.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the application (hosting, payment processing, analytics), subject to confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
5. Connected apps: Strava
Connecting WO! to Strava is optional. You connect from Settings > Connected apps in the app, and you approve the connection on Strava's own website or app, so WO! never sees your Strava password. We ask Strava for only two permissions: to upload activities to your Strava account, and to read your public profile.
- What we receive from Strava: your Strava athlete ID, first and last name, profile photo, and the access credentials (tokens) that let WO! use the permissions you granted.
- What we send to Strava: only when you choose to post a workout, we create a Weight Training activity with the workout's name, start time, duration, exercises, sets, repetitions, weights and total volume.
- What we keep: your Strava name, photo and athlete ID (to show which account is connected), the access credentials, and the ID and link of each activity you posted (so the app can link to it and never post it twice). When you share a workout you already posted, we check with Strava whether the activity still exists, so one you deleted on Strava can be posted again.
- What we don't do: we never read your Strava activities or any other Strava data, we don't show your Strava data to other WO! users, we don't sell it or share it with third parties, and we don't use it to train artificial intelligence models.
- Disconnecting: you can disconnect at any time in Settings > Connected apps. We then revoke WO!'s access on Strava and delete the stored credentials and profile details. You can also revoke access from your Strava settings (My Apps). Activities you already posted stay on Strava until you delete them there.
6. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls.
7. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, delete, or export your data, as well as to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights directly in the app's settings or by contacting us.
8. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
